Meet Dr. Gertler
DR. ALEXIS GERTLER
PROSTHODONTIST
Dr. Gertler is trained in the most recent advances of reconstructive dentistry, including extensive use of digital technology. She is surgically trained and artistically inclined to deliver the best of both worlds for her patients. Among her many accomplishments, her work has been published in the Journal of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Gertler was born and raised in New York. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Binghamton University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Stony Brook University. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at the prestigious Veterans Hospital in Manhattan where she worked alongside numerous world-renowned specialists treating a complex patient population.
Dr. Gertler went on to work for several dental offices in New York, where she found her love for Prosthodontics. Given this passion, she completed a three-year Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at NOVA Southeastern University. As Chief Resident, she treated many patients in full mouth reconstruction on teeth and implants.
In her free time she enjoys working out, cooking, and the Florida sunshine.
